Enrichment Activities

At Children’s Journey, our enrichment offerings open the door for unique opportunities to boost your child’s development. Enrichment activities are optional but open to all students who attend. From the upbeat atmosphere of Webby Dance to the calming flow of yoga, the playful practice of Spanish, and the uplifting power of music, these classes are woven into your child’s day at no extra cost. Each activity is headed by an experienced, passionate instructor ready to nurture each child’s 4 Cs: confidence, creativity, coordination, and communication.

Webby Dance: Active, Creative Movement

Children’s Journey offers Webby Dance, a dance program that introduces a variety of dancing techniques, such as beginning tap, ballet, rhythm/movement, and tumbling. Webby Dance enrolls children ages 2 to 8 in a 30-minute session each week. The program provides age-appropriate music, fun props, and an action-packed class taught by a professional instructor. This activity offers a unique opportunity for children to build their memory, concentration, coordination, creativity, and self-confidence, all in a positive atmosphere. Mindful Movement & Cultural Exploration

  • Yoga: Weekly yoga sessions promote body awareness, balance, and mindfulness.
  • Spanish: Our Spanish classes use active learning to introduce young learners to new words and phrases through songs and games, encouraging early language skills and cultural curiosity.
  • Music: Music is woven throughout our program. Every day includes moments to sing, rhythmically move, and express emotion, further enriching our holistic approach to early childhood education.
